I love getting to stay home with my kids and watch them grow. But watching other kids in my house it hard at times. I had a mom call me this morning and said that she was sick and going to stay home. She asked me if the kids could still come to the house. At first I thought she was kidding but she was serious. I had to say no. I don't get to have someone watch my kids will I am sick. When the mom is sick we have to take care of the kids, house and husband still. I just couldn't believe she even asked me. I kind of felt bad but I she has the flu and her kids probably will get it too. And they didn't need to come here and get us all sick. The joys of watching other peoples kids it your home.

I was searching the web for the name Trevor. Saw your sight. Couldn't help but laugh when I read the post about the mom calling to ask if her kids could still come even though she was going to be home. As a stay at home mom who used to babysit also, this was a constant problem. So was the phone call at the end of the day to say they would be a little late because they wanted to run a couple of errands without the kids. Yikes!! What are people thinking. But I was, and am so thankful for the pleasure of being home with my kids.
