Aunt Vonnie

My sister called this morning and said that Aunt Vonnie passed away last night about 8:30. She would be my moms Aunt so she would be my Great Aunt. She was 95 years old and had many stokes though out her life. The funeral will be Saturday we think. We aren't going to go because Beth's wedding is on Sunday. So keep of family in your prays this week and weekend.

My most finest memory of Aunt Vonnie was when I was about 13 or 14 years old and we went to visit her. She wasn't a very modest women she would always want to know if we were maturing yet. She always wanted to know what size bra we wore. And I don't remember ever seeing her hair not all fixed. Or colored red.

I would have to say that I think she was my favorite Great Aunt out of them all because she was a cosmetologist too. I loved to hear the stories that she would tell about her salon that her owned.

After Joel and I got married we went to visit all of my moms family in Colorado. We went to see Aunt Vonnie and had KFC and Joel fixed her TV Internet. She thought Joel was the most handiest man and very kind man.

Aunt Vonnie I will miss you and hope to see you in heaven someday. Give mom and huge and kiss for me. And thank you for the beauty salon stories.
