My Babies Tag

I am going to all three of my kids. The answers will go in order to age. First will be Karlee's then Trevor and then Hailey's. Sorry if is is confusing but thought it would be fun to do all three.


1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? In our apartment, at home and with Hailey at home too.

2- Who was with you? Nobody I was home by myself with all three. Joel was at work or on call.

3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? I took many home pregnancy tests. With all three.

4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? Very excited, nervous especially with Karlee, my first.

5- Your Husbands reaction? Very happy with all three and wouldn't have it any other way.

6- Who was the first person you told? Joel then family. With Karlee we found out a day before my dad's birthday so told him in his birthday card. "Present will come in 9 MONTHS!!!"

7-Did you plan to get pregnant? Yes with all three. Karlee was sooner then planned but that it what a lot of stress does. Trevor was planned just took 8 months and with Hailey she was planned it took 7 months.

8-Was everybody happy for you? Yes everyone was happy.

9- Did you go out and celebrate? I don't think we did with any of them.

10- Did you want to find out the sex? With Karlee no but with Trevor, he wanted us to know and with Hailey we wanted to know.

11- What was the sex? Girl, Boy, Girl

12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? With Karlee yes, with Trevor no and with Haily yes.

13- If yes, who? The church did with Karlee and my sister Sara gave me a family shower with Hailey.

14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby? No not that I can think of.

15- How much weight did you gain? 18 with Karlee, 22 with Trevor and 20 with Hailey.

16- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained? Yes but would still like to loose a little more.

17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? I got most of my stretch marks with Karlee, With Trevor I got one more right above my belly button and with Hailey I didn't get anymore.

18- What did you crave the most? EGG with all three.

19- Did you crave anything crazy? No.

20- Who or what got on your nerves the most? I would have to say me being so tired and still have to do the laundry, cook and clean the house and take care of a toddler when pregnant with Trevor and when pregnant with Hailey taken care of a
preschooler and a toddler. Wish I had a little help.

21- Were you married at the time? Of Course! Been married seven month when we found out with Karlee. Had been married 3 years and 2 months when we found out with Trevor and with Hailey just a little over six years.

22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No not with any of them.

23- Where were you when you went into labor? With Karlee I was banding calves and chasing hevfers. At 8:00pm I felt my first contraction. Went to the hospital at midnight and the contraction stopped so they induced me at 4:00am. I was induced with Trevor and Hailey.

24- Did your water break? With Karlee it broke right before I started to push and with Trevor the doctor broke it after I had been in labor for 6 hours and had only gone one centimeter. From three to a four. With Hailey the doctor broke it right after they hooked me up to pitocin.

25- Who drove you to the hospital? Joel did. With Karlee it was at 12:00am and had her at 8:04am and with Trevor it was 5:30am induction was at 6:00am and had him at 3:56 pm and with Hailey it was also 5:30am induction was in between 5:30am and 6:00am and had her at 1:12pm.

26- Did you go early or late? With Karlee she was one day early. Had her on April
28th and due date was April 29th. With Trevor he was two days late. Had him on November 28th and his due date was November 26th and with Hailey had her on the due date September 24th.

27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth? With Karlee, Joel,
Dr.Campbell, my sister Beth and good friend Elizabeth. Don't remember how my nurse was. With Trevor Joel, Dr.Campbell, nurse Mindy and mother-in-law and with Hailey Joel and Dr.Campbell and nurse Terry.

28- Was it video taped? No not any of them just pictures of just baby and very tired mommy and excited daddy.

29- Did you have any drugs for the pain? I had one dose of medicine with Karlee. Didn't like what they gave me though. Made me feel like I was in a tunnel. Had one dose on medicine with Trevor but didn't do anything and with Hailey had one dose of medicine just to make me relax right before I started to push. I couldn't even hold me body up.

30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? Natural with all three.

31- What was your first reaction after giving birth? Very excited very glad that it was over and couldn't believe that I made it thought it. With Hailey and Trevor couldn't believe how big they were compared to Karlee.

32- How big was the baby(s)? Karee was 6lb 15oz and 18 3/4 inches long, Trevor was
7lb 10oz and 19inches long and Hailey was 8lb 1oz and 19 3/4 inches long. They just kept getting bigger and longer.

33- Did your Husband cry? Yes with Karlee, I don't think he did with Trevor and Hailey.

34- What did you name the baby(s)? Karlee Dawn, Trevor Scoot and Hailey Jo

35-Did the name have any significance to you? Karlee was named after my mom (Karla) and my Mom's mom (Donna Lee) and me (Annie Lee). Trevor not really just liked the name. We had probably three name going to the hospital but when Trevor was born Joel said Trevor Scott and it fit. With Hailey we could only agree on one name so Hailey Jo it was.

36-Does the baby's name fit? Yes all three of them.

37- Did the baby(s) have any complications? Nope! Not at all. Healthy little babies.

38- How old is your baby today? Karlee is 5year, 8months, 4 weeks and 1day. Trevor is 3years, 1month, 4weeks and 1day. Hailey is 4months and 2days.

39- When is the next one(s) coming? Not for a while. But yes we do want another one. But God knows.

40- If you could would you do it all over again? I sure would in a heart beat. But maybe I would like to go in to labor by myself!! Induction is all I know and I didn't think it was that bad. But I thanks God everyday for my three kids and thanks him for healthy babies and kids. They make me laugh, cry and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them in my life. I love them very much and hope that they know how much they are loved by their mommy and daddy and extended family.
