week 33

This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

You are probably wondering why I didn't post week 32. When I went to the doctors the other day they had me 31 weeks and 6 days and I had myself at just 31 weeks. The doctor is going by September 24th. It is only a 6 days difference anyway. I am feeling tried and sore. The baby is know big enough that she is in to my rips.

We are getting our roof re shingled. They started yesterday and they came at 7:30 this morning to finish. They got one side all done yesterday and know they are working on the other. They had to take off the solar system this morning and take off the old shingles. They are know putting down the black paper.

It sure has been cooler here. Yesterday the high was 86 and right know it is 70 so don't think it will get hot today. Joel is home today. Had it off. He and the kids when to the lumber yard to get new screen for the screen door and slime for Karlee's bike. The back tire is flat.

He kids ( Adelle, Evelyn and Karlee) are going to have a sleep over at Grandpa Dave house tonight. He wanted to have them all out before he went back to Mississippi. Which I think he is leaving on Sunday or Monday. Trevor isn't going though. He didn't sleep very well last night so he is going to hang with mom and dad tonight.
