Karlee

What a day we have had. Karlee was attacked by a dog this afternoon. The dog belonged to good friends of ours. Really don't know why or what made the dog attack but something made him mad. After spend an hour cleaning and trying to calm her down we headed to the hospital to have her checked out. The doctor said that he really didn't want to stitch her up because dog bits are beep and they need to drain. There was only on puncture wound that needed stitched but he put butterfly bandages on instead. She is going to burs bad. But we are just thankful that it was only her arm and it wasn't her neck or face. I was going to get picture but all you would see is bandages all over her arm. The nurse in the ER thought it would be best to cover all the puncture wounds. Out of site out of mind. Good thing we have all weekend to rest and start to heal before she has to go back to school on Tuesday. I just checked on her and the one puncture that they just put the butterfly bandage on was braining and bleeding. So I put a bandage on it for the night. We are going to rest and just take it easy tomorrow.

She had her first field trip today. The kindergarten class went to a apple orchard and farm. They got to pick 10 apples to bring home. I asked her what kind of animals were on the farm. She named everything. So it was a old McDonald farm. He favorite part was getting to ride on the bus and picking the apples.
