Your baby is growing rapidly now. This week he weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is getting bigger to accommodate his growing brain — which is busy developing billions of neurons. Every day, about 200 milligrams of calcium is deposited in your baby's skeleton, which is now hardening. With this rapid growth, it's no surprise that your baby's nutritional needs reach their peak during this trimester.
Had a doctors appointment today. Baby sounds good and I was measuring right on 29. I have only gained 14 pound. But Dr. Campbell said that he wasn't worried. Just to make sure to eat protein. Joel and I have finally picked a name that we both like. We are going to keep it a secret though. You will just have to what. I did ask about the placenta previa to see if we were still on for a ultrasound at 36 weeks. He said yes and then he can decide whether a c section in necessary or not. He said even if it have moved half way he it still iffy on natural birth. So will have to what to see what route we are going to take.
Forgot to post this but Friday the 11th my cousin Kaycee and her husband welcomed Jayden Roth 9lb 12oz. He is a big one.
