On Saturday we had Christmas with the Trowbridge side of the family. Grandma made meatballs, bake potato, and veggies. Aunt Holly made the rolls and I brought a jello salad. Last year and this year we did something a little different. The little kids draw names from Karlee down and everyone else brought a $10 gift. The girls brought girl gifts and the guys brought guy gifts. Then we did like a whit elephant exchange. It was fun. I think it is more exciting to see what everyone ends up with.
In the kids exchange Karlee got a horse and pony and Trevor got a car with a thing at shouts the car out.
We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and then Aunt Lisa read the ginger bread man and Grandma had made all the kids little ginger bread cookies.
We were missing a few family member this year. My Uncle Dale and Aunt Marsha and their three kids from Colorado. Cousins Patti, Kelli how were at college. Tyerl and Uncle John how were working. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Marna and their three kids from Pennsylvania. They usually don't come but we see them in the summer. And dad, but we had a great surprise around 7:30. Dad walked in the door. We didn't expect him for a couple more days. But he wanted to be here for his granddaughters Christmas program at church and then at school on Tuesday night.
One Christmas down and four more to go. Tonight is Karlee's Christmas program at church. I will post some pictures tonight or tomorrow sometime.
