July

Well, July is here. Before you know it school will be starting back up. Tomorrow is the Fourth. Joel doesn't have to work so we will have a quit day at home. Maybe we will finish the swing set. All that is left is the half that the swings go on. Karlee said that she wanted to paint the swing set red.

I went out side this morning to water my flowers and pull a few weeds and found tons on ants in the yard and in the flowers beds. So, we went into the lumber yard and got go ant stuff to put down. We will have to put it on tonight because we can't have the kids in the lawn or the do, and we have to water the lawn after we put in on too. Maybe the ants are the reason we don't have much of a lawn this year.

Karlee stayed the night with my Aunt Holly Uncle Russ and cousins Patti and Kelli. She has stayed there before. It is something special that she gets to do. So we only had Trevor. Which was fun but weird. We went to Craig and Lennie's house last night to help Jeff with the remodeling of their basement. Trevor was taking in all the attention he could get. He was playing with Grandpa and then look up to make sure everyone was laughing at him or paying attention to him. He was go tired last night. He slept all night long until 8 this morning.

Sunday I woke up with the flu. I was supposed to do nursery in Church and then we were to go to Craig and Lennie's house for lunch. Josh, Kara and Brecken were home for the weekend before they went to stay a week at Kara's mom and dad's. Well anyway I had to stay home. Joel took the kids to Church and did nursery for me. Then in the afternoon Joel came and got me and said that a little fresh air will do some good. So we went to the golf course with Jeff, Josh and Craig. By the eighteenth hole I wasn't felling to good anymore. But made it home. I think I got too hot because I was fine once I got home and cold off. Then we went to eat supper at Craig and Lennie's. I hadn't seen my kids all day. I think they even missed me.

Well, hope you all have a safe and Happy Fourth of July.

P.S We, are expecting my dad home from Mississippi on Monday. Hey!!!!
