Hard times

It has been a long time since i have updated the blog. We just got a new plug for the computer today so the computer is know fixed. Just to let everyone know but most everyone does know but we lost out baby on 1-11-11. At 17 week pregnant. I went in for just an ob check up and the doctor couldn't find a heart beat so had me go over to the hospital for an ultrasound and the tech couldn't find one either. She measured the baby (which measured at 14 weeks) and sent me and Joel back over to talk to the Doctor. We talked about our options and decided to start an induction and deliver the baby. So Tuesday January 11 at about 9:30 pm the baby was delivered but I ended up having to have a D and C Wednesday morning the 12th (our anniversary) because my body didn't deliver the placenta. So the about 11am or so I was sent home.
That baby was sent to Cheyenne. Found out that is was a boy. At first Joel and I had SO many emotions going though us we didn't know what to do with the baby. But after a week we decided to bury the baby over my mom's grave in Lingle. We named his Reaia (Ray I A) Quinn. Reaia is a biblical name which means God has seen! From 1 Chronicles 5:5. If you have a Bible read 5:4 too. It will give you goosebumps. Didn't look at these verses until a week after we had picked the name.
And a little grave side service on 2-5-11. Just had family. The headstone will be placed soon. It has been the hardest thing in the world to have to go though. But we just to remember that GOD is in control!!! Joel has been the greatest though all of this. WE WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO HAVE ANOTHER!!
Someone asked Joel the other day how many kids he had and he said three on earth and one in heaven. My mom is rocking our baby boy heaven!!!!

So sorry I haven't updated in a LONG time!!! Here are few pictures of Halloween and Trevor's 5th birthday. I will try to be better at getting on here and updating. Sorry to the people that get on here daily and there was no new post. Well do better!!!!

In family news we found out in October that we are expecting #4 due June 20th. The kids are very EXCITED!!! Trevor just said YEAH I'm going to have a brother!!!. I am just getting to feel better. I have had a head cold since we found out we were expecting and HOPE in ends soon.

With Thanksgiving and Trevor's birthday done with we are all getting ready for the Christmas season. The tree is up and the house is getting decorated slowly!!! Karlee and Trevor have their Christmas program on the 13th. Tis the SEASON!!!

Out little miss Hailey turns 2 today. She has been a joy in our family and couldn't imagine our family without her. Trevor and Karlee love having a little sister to take care of. The past 2 year have flown by SO fast. Our little baby isn't little any more. She talks all the time, loves to cook with mommy. We are working on potty training. Only had one accident yesterday and none so far today. She loves books, babies and bags. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAILEY.

Karlee started school last Wednesday and LOVES it!!! Her teacher's name in Mrs. Rogers. On the fist day of school they learned about oreos. Then made charts on how you eat an oreo. Many kids like to dunk them in milk. Then they learned how many are in a dozen an half dozen. Then they counted by 2,5,10. Which they all know from 1st grade. Karlee said they got three new boy and two of them are twins.

Trevor stared preschool this morning. There is 18 in the class. A big one this year. Our little neighbor girl Kenzie is going too so I told Trevor to be her buddy today. I told him I will see him at 11 and he said bye mom have a good day. FUNNY BOY!! So we will see what he does today.

Last Wednesday we went to Cheyenne for many of thing. Trevor's dentist appointment, finishing school shopping, Joel need to go by his bow shop and family pictures. On the side under family and friends blogs go to Stacey's photo blog!

School starts Wednesday for Karlee and as for Trevor things are up in the air as far as school. I will gibe more info. when I know more. But is suppose to start on the 30th so we will see.

Hailey looks so big today. I was able to finally put her hair in one ponytail and it makes her look so BIG. Isn't it funny how kids LOVE carseats when they are in the house and not in the car. Hailey crawled in my babysiting baby Trevor's carseat this afternoon she just played and then had a snack. Funny girl!

On the last day of school the kids get to do a field day. Play at the football field. Trevor got to play the games too. Then the booster club made lunch for the kids and families. So here are a few pictures. Sorry I was going to take more but I had two little once 20 months and 13 months and Trevor with me. So know summer begins!!!! No sleeping in though!
Karlee SURE loves 1st grade. She loved her teacher and learned so much. She didn't really want to go home today when I went to pick her up for school. :)

Trevor and his class had a little preschool graduation/participation party on Friday the 21st. They gave preschool diplomas to the kids moving on the kindergarten and a participation award to kids that are going back to preschool for their second year. Trevor also got the kindest kids in preschool award. They had a slide show and the kids sang a couple songs. There are a few pictures from the day. Trevor has one more year of preschool and the on to kindergarten the year after.

Today the town of Torrington had a Welcome Home parade for the troops that have been fighting and supporting our state and lives over seas. The LFL elementary school walked in it. Trevor, Hailey, my babysitting baby Trevor and I went down and we were able to get a picture of Karlee walking. She is in a pink jacket and purple leggings if you can't find her.

Yesterday was Karlee's 7th birthday. Joel got the OK from work to come in a little late so she opened a couple presents from us. An outfit and a new bike (that I did get a picture of yet). I took her to school and then went back and eat lunch with her. Along with Trevor and Hailey too. Late night we had a small family party for her. She got chapter book, clothes, barbie and barbie car, a sprinkler (Thanks Jeff and Beth), and then her bike. She had a great birthday. Plus a new baby born yesterday. A new cousin. They share a birthday and middle names. Tyella Dawn Kinberg. Congrats Dani and Tyrel. Can't wait to see her.

So sorry it has been so long since I have updated. We have been VERY busy with kids and jobs. And family stuff.

Well we are doing good. The weather the last couple of days was great!! But today it is windy and cold. But we got a little work done outside. Raked leaves in front yard, cleaned out flower beds. AND I HAVE FLOWER POPPING OUT!!! YEAH!!!!

On the First of March we took a SHORT trip to Denver for Trevor's 6 month post heart surgery check-up. Very thing look great!! Praise God!!! After his appointment her took the kids to the Children's Museum in Denver. We had a great time and the kids had a blast. The Children's Museum has things for all ages so it was good for the kids. We didn't take our camera because didn't know we were going. Last minute thing!

Hailey started walk all the time on Valentines day. She is on the move and loves it because she can do what here sister and brother do.

Karlee is still loving school but also loves her days off. she went of a field trip to day to a play in Scottsbluff.

Joel is BUSY at work getting orders and bids done for people. He just finished the Lumber yards biggest window sell ever. His is busy with the EMT stuff too. Trying to get all his hours he need in to re-cert in September He is thinking about do and I class that is coming soon.

Trevor is doing great loves to play outside. He asked everyday "When is the pool going to open so I can jump in it?" "When can we put the trampoline up?" When is my new flip flops coming in the mail?" He is so excited for summer. He have one more year of pre school and the kindergarten.

We also got out tax's done yesterday so now we can order a new computer. YEAH!!! We got a new kitty too! Her name is Mia. Will have to get a picture of her too!!
I just have a few pictures but I need to get one of Karlee so you can see her toothless smile.

Happy February

Well we aren't starting our February very good. We left for Colorado on Saturday. Joel didn't fly out until Sunday but stayed the night with my Aunt Karen. So Saturday Hailey was running a fever and just feeling cruddy. Sunday I gave her some medicine and I took Joel to the airport and the kids stayed at my Aunt's house. We (Emily went with me) got back about noon and Hailey was doing better. We left Aunt Karen's about 3 and headed home. We stopped in Cheyenne to see Beth and Darin. Well we weren't there even 5 minutes and Hailey throw up all over me. So got her a bath and on the road. Well in was a VERY long ride home and a VERY long night last night. Hailey is still running a low grade fever but hopefully today we can get it under control. AND A NAP. NO SLEEP LAST NIGHT!!
Lovely Trevor just throw up and he said his tummy hurts. Great that is all I need is for them all to get sick. Well off to get the laundry done from the sick kids and from the weekend.

Well it sure has been a little while since I posted something so thought I better get that done.
We had a good New Year and a good Christmas with Joel's family. Things are getting back to the norm around here. Karlee and Trevor both started back to school this week so the was great. It well be a long week for Karlee but good for her to get back to the grind of school.

Joel's 29th birthday was on Tuesday so we had a little party. The kids got his a trip to Cabela's and I got his some bogs. Maybe in February we can take the Cabela's trip.

My Aunt Lisa had here baby on Monday the 4th at 10:45 pm. She had a little girl. Kathryn Grace she weighted 8lb 1oz. Haven't seen her yet thought I would wait until she gets a little rest and let her family all see her first. Joel was so hoping she would have it on his birthday SO CLOSE though!! That makes 20 grand kids for my grandparents.

Joel is planning a work trip to Minnesota the end of this month for more training on the Marvin windows that he sells at work. I will take him to DIA on the 31 and then will go back and pick him up on the 3rd of Fed.

Well I guess that is all just trying to stay warm in the below zero stuff we have been having. Wish it would just snow if we are going to get cold weather. I don't mind the snow. Well need to go get some groceries and then go get Karlee. Bye for know.

Late Merry Christmas

We had a busy but good Christmas. We went to our Church's Christmas Eve service on Thursday and then came home to a quit house and ate left overs. Watched a movie and then when the kids went to bed at 10:00, we put out the gifts and filled the stocking.

Christmas morning the kids didn't get up until 7:30. I made a breakfast casserole for breakfast and cinnamon rolls. We opened our gifts and played with them. Kids had a good time. We were done with presents at 9 then Christmas afternoon we went to Joel's mom and dads for lunch and then left their at 5 and came home so Dad and Stacy could come by and see the kids and see what they got. Joel worked on Saturday and I didn't feel good at all, stayed in bed most of the day.

Last night we going the new wii fit balance board out and played it with the kids. We are having a good time. Today I did a little exercising on the wii and it said that I lost 2.6 pound since yesterday so that is a yeah. Our computer is no longer fixable so going to have to save for a new one. We have my dads now but can't put pictures on it. Or don't want to put a bunch of pictures on his computer. So might be a long time before you get to see pictures sorry. Well hope everyone had a great Christmas and if I don't get on here before the New Year Happy 2010 to everyone.

My sister and her husband came and stayed Friday night. They were here to do Christmas with Dad and Stacy on Saturday. Well Saturday morning the kid (Karlee and Trevor), Beth and Darin went out and built a snowman. So here are the pictures from that and Hailey playing in the house. Since she couldn't go outside. I didn't get any pictures when we were over at Dad's and Stacy's because Joel thought the batteries were died but the batteries weren't even in the camera they were at the bottom of the diaper bag. So no pictures but we sure has A LOT of food and good family time.

I didn't realize how many pictures I have taken and not posted so here they all are. There are pictures from when I got to watch my niece and nephew for a little bit, Trevor's birthday, and Trevor took a picture of our new vacuum. We got an early Christmas present. My last one lasted almost eight years. I thought it still worked until I vacuumed with this new one. WOW! My carpets were dirty. But they were clean on the top. Well anyway enjoy the pictures and hopefully we will get come more taken this weekend when we do Christmas with Dad and Stacy.

Oh ya the little thing that B is holding is the first grade ginny pig named Callie. It was our weekend to have her and the kids loved her.

Sorry it has been so long we have been busy with school, work, kids, housework and getting ready for th Christmas season. We have been to one Christmas party already and have the Lumber yard one to go to on the 13th. This weekend we are doing Christmas with my dad and Stacy. Then school parties and the Christmas so a very busy next couple of weeks.

We went shopping on Saturday and started our Christmas shopping. So will try to finish on Friday. Got our house all decorated and the tree is up and there is 6-8 inches of snow on the ground so it is starting to look lie Christmas. For some reason I just can't get motivated to get Christmas present bought and things ready but it time I just things will get done.

Tomorrow is Joel's day off so a nice day to hang with him well sorta. In the morning I have Bible study then I am going to go eat lunch with Karlee and hang with her until school is out. Early out tomorrow at 1:00. Then we are going to make sugar cookies and decorate them.

I just realized that I never put pictures of Trevor birthday party on here. Well better get that done. I am waiting for a coffee cake to get done in the oven to take to Bible study in the morning so have time to get pictures on.

Well after enjoying a great day with the kids and hanging out at Aunt Holly's and Uncle Russ's yesterday we can home to get a few things done before I had to go to work. Well we got home just in time, Hailey throw up as soon as I took her out of the car. She was running a fever and not feeling good at all. Joel had to work last last night, usually he is home by 5:10 or 5:15 so I can get out the door and on to Lira's at 5:30. So Grandpa Craig came and watched the kids until Joel got home. Karlee said Hailey cried the whole time until Daddy came home. POOR BABY!! Well she is doing fine this morning but just to be safe we might cancel the birthday party for today. I don't want to get everyone else sick with this bug. I don't feel that greatest this morning.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL FAMLIY AND FRIENDS!!!

Our day started with Joel and I leaving the kids with Nana and Grandpa while I went to help him finish a roof that he has been working on. We worked until 11 and then headed back to town for Thanksgiving lunch with Stacy and Dad. YUMMY!! Thanks you Stacy for the WONDERFUL meal!! We stayed and watched a movie and had dessert with them and then we headed back out to finish the LAST of the roof. Took the kids with us this time. So we got to work off all the food we ate today. YEAH! Well off to bed I go roofing is hard work but had a good time being with my husband for a little bit by myself. Wish we could do it more often. Well Happy Thanksgiving.

Here are a few pictures of Miss Hailey! We have had some ruff nights, with her the last couple of nights. She would go to bed fine but gets up at like 3 or 4 and just cries and cries. Thought she was cold, so tucked her in and gave her a drink. Last night Joel got up with her and they slept on the cough for most the night. Well, tonight when I was getting her dressed, after her bath and she was whining a little, I noticed that she has two top big girl teeth that just popped in. So, there is a reason, why she has been fussy!! Well tonight she has medicine in her so we will she if she can sleep though the night.

Well I just took Hailey for her one year check up at the doctors office. WOW!!! Were did that year go?!?! Were did the baby go!??! Anyway she is doing good. Growing good and everything. She isn't walking yet or even thinking about it. So that is our next goal WALKING!! Here is her weight and height

15.5 lbs
28.5 inches

She is our little Almond Joy. Little dainty thing.
She has seven teeth now. And loves playing peek a boo and reading books. She loves playing with Karlee in Karlee's room. Playing with BIG sister how fun. Trevor has been playing more and more with her since Karlee isn't home during the day. Trevor started preschool on Monday. He goes three days a week, Mon, Wed, Fri. He is very tried by the end of the day but loves it. Karlee is loving school but ready for a brake. She loves her weekends so she can sleep in and play with Trevor and Hailey. Anyway we are all good and HEALTH other then a few sniffles and stuffy noses.

Since last week we haven't done a thing other then house work and laundry. Thursday I took Trevor in to get his stitch out of his side were his chest tube was. The doctor did good and took it out fast. Friday Joel and I tag teamed Trevor and took his band aid off. The hole was open. So we called the doctors office and they gave us some steri- strips. They weren't very sticky at all. So we just put a band aid over it like a butterfly band aid. That night Joel really thought that it needed a stitch so he called a doctor (family friend) and he went to the clinic to get some glue and came to our house to fixed it. Thanks to a great doctor. It seems to be working.

Trevor is back to himself. He still wakes up at night. Don't know if he is hurting or what. He is only on Tylenol once dose in the morning and one at night. Plus his blood pressure medicine. Morning and night too. So we are doing good.

Now we are getting ready for Hailey's first birthday. Her birthday is Thursday the 24th but we are going to have a party on the 26th. Can't believe our little baby is going to be one. She is so tiny and petite. As Aunt Karen calls Hailey her little almond joy.

Karlee is busy going to school. She loves the 1st grade. She is learning about bugs. She is doing very well on her math and reading. She also has to take tests on her books that she brings home to read. Her AR books.

Here are a few picture from Trevor's adventure in the hospital. The first few pictures are from when we were still in the CICU (Cardiac intensive care unit), then the next few are from the PCU (progressive cardiac unit) and the last few are the view that we had out our ninth floor window.

Yes we are home. They moved us to the progressive cardiac unit (PCU) Saturday about 4:45 and not even 20 minutes up there the nurse said that we could go home on Sunday. Joel and I couldn't believe that. Out son just had heart surgery on Friday and they were telling us we could go home. But we talked it over and decided to wait and come home Monday. Trevor had been moved from room to room in the ICU, he moved three times while there and then moved to the PCU on Saturday. So we thought he needed a good day of just hanging out, resting and no moving. So Monday we got dismissed about 2 after Trevor had to have a chest x ray, echo, and his last iv taken out. Trevor got in the car and not even 10 minutes in the car he said that he was hungry and wants Lira's. And then slept most of the way to Greeley. We stopped in Eaton for a little brake and potty time at my Uncle Dale's and Aunt Marsha's house and then we got home about 8 last night. Today we are just resting and hanging with Trevor and Hailey. Karlee is in school. We are going to take Trevor to Lira's for lunch. So very glad to be home and thanks everyone for your prayers and phone calls. Please keep praying for him. It will be a long recovery. About 4-6 weeks. And hope that he doesn't get sick while still recovering. We go to our doctor on Thursday to get his incision checked out and to get his stitches out that are in were his chest tube was. And on the 22nd of September we go to Scottsbluff to see our Cardiologist Dr. Miller. So until then thanks!!!

GREAT DAY

This morning the surgeon came and took out Trevor's chest tube. YEAH!! That was about a pain in the butt. Then they took out his iv in his foot, neck and the one in his hand. He still has one iv in his right hand but just for giving pain meds though. He also got his cath out this morning so after, he was able to get out of bed, we tried to get him to go potty but wouldn't, so then we tired to get him to walk, just out of his room and back. That was hard work but he did it. Well walked to the desk and Joel carried him back to the room. He slept most of the rest of the morning. After lunch he sat straight up in bed and said, that he had to go potty so got him all unhooked from his heart monitor, blood pressure cuff and heart rate thing and he did go potty plus walked to the toy chest across the ICU unit and back and then had some ice cream and watermelon. So doing good. He is sleeping now with Joel. So doing great. Hopefully we will get moved out of the ICU to floor nine to a hospital room with a bedroom. So we will keep everyone updated on things!! Thanks for all of your prayers and phone calls we love you all they are thankful for great family and friends.

Well we have had a very long couple of days but things are going good.

Yesterday we got here for his pre-op at 8:30 am get his blood work, chest x-ray done and then his echo. While they were doing his echo they found a spot right below his narrowed aorta. They didn't know what it was go they said that we will need to have a cat scan to see what it was. Trevor was going to have to be sedated for that. They THOUGHT is was an aneurysm. Well we waited and waited and then they finally came and told us that they were going to wait until in the morning so they only had to sedate once. So we went on to our motel and had come lunch at McDonald's at 3:30pm. So we went to bed not know what the plan was for the next day.

6:00am this morning we checked in to the hospital. They gave him his oral sleeping stuff and we carried him down to the cat scan room. Were they put him to sleep and were we gave him our hug and kisses. At about 7:30 the surgeon came out and said that they did see something below the narrowed aorta but not sure wait it was. So he said that they will still do the surgery at planned (under his armpit). At about 8 or 8:15 a nurse came out to say that they were starting the surgery and it should only take about an hour and a half. At about 9 she came out and showed us the aorta that they took out. It is about the size of a eraser on the end of a pencil but the end narrowed down to about the size of a head on a needle. SMALL. The surgeon never saw anything that looked like what he saw on the cat scan. PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!! Trevor got out of surgery about 10 and we got to see him about 11. He is doing great. His breathing tube and stomach tube is out. Well he pulled the stomach tube out while we were at lunch. But he is doing great and is such a trooper. He is now just resting. He is not sure wait is going on but is doing good and is listening to the nurses. So i will try to update soon. Thank

We are off. Today is the day that we leave. At 4 or little after. This is a trip that I just don't want to take and pack for. But the sooner is it over the sooner I can think and know he is alright. I am going to try to update daily but I don't how often I will be able to. So keep checking to see. I will at least try to update on Friday so you all know how Trevor is did and is doing. Long time

Well it has been a long time since I updated last. We have been busy with summer stuff. We are know getting ready for school to start. YEAH!! Didn't think I would be happy for Karlee to start school but it is time and it will be nice to get a routine back in the house. Since Monday my step mom Stacy and I have been painting. We painted all the interior door and trim, and windows and trim and closet trim. Stacy painted our french doors inside and out. I painted the exterior doors. Stacy talked Joel into letting me paint the front door a reddish plum color. So that was fun. We also touched up the kitchen cabinets. And we are done panting for a while. The ceiling really needs to be done but maybe in a couple weeks.

Joel bought a new truck this week. It is a 1995 Toyota. Has a lot of miles but is in good condition. It will be good in the winter because it has 4 wheel drive. And he really needs it to get to work and it is a good hunting truck.

Yesterday we got paper work on Trevor's surgery. We have to be in Denver on the 10th of September at 8:30am for his pre-op stuff. Echo, chest x-ray, blood work, we will meet with a nurse practitioner and then we will meet the surgeon. I hope to get a surgery tour before the end of the day just to know what we are going to do and were we are going for the next day.

As for Karlee, she is ready for school to start. It have been a good summer. She did t-ball, swimming lessons and she has got to sleep in until 7:30-8:00. So know we have to work on getting on a school schedule this next week.

Hailey is doing good. She is know 10 1/2 months and has on tooth and is finally crawling. She loves playing with Karlee and Trevor.

Joel is very busy at the lumber yard. Yesterday he had two pull barns to figure, siding on a house, a deck, a roof and windows. Plus he had to go measure windows at a couple houses. So very busy and stressful. He has the weekend off so that will be great.

As for me I just have laundry, a kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms to clean plus that basement needs a lot of attention. So that is what i have been doing and need to get done.

Well we finally got the phone call today that we have been waiting for about a month now. We have a date set for Trevor's surgery. September 11th at 7:30am My sister-in-law said that is a good luck day. The day my nephew was born three years ago.

So will keep you all updated. Hopefully we can take our computer or use a computer at Children's to update how things are going on the blog for you all. So all I ask now is to PRAY PRAY PRAY for that day and for the surgeons and everything that goes with having surgery. And for the days to follow the surgery. Also pray for Joel and I. I was alright with him having heart surgery but now it is real and is going to happen. I think it has finally hit me. Scared and nervous for my little boy. But I know that God will take good care of everything and Trevor will be back to himself (plus more ENERGY) after this is done. KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYER THIS NEXT COULPE OF MONTHS. Thanks!!

Cool day for baking

Well I have been waiting for a cool day to do some baking. So this morning I made Pumpkin Zucchini Bread.
Here is the recipe for the bread
3 eggs
2c Sugar
1can of canned pumpkin
1c butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3c flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 cup shredded zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts
Bake foe 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes

This afternoon I am going to make chocolate zucchini cake. I know why zucchini well I have four big zucchini's given to me so have to fry or bake them. Good thing the kids like zucchini.

Well Miss Hailey Jo is 10 month today. We went for her 9 month check up last week but she was loser to 10 months. We were just so busy when she was 9 month with VBS and swimming lessons I wanted a little bit to go to the doctor.

So her status:

She is almost ready to crawl if she would figure out want to do with her legs and she is FINALLY getting teeth. I noticed yesterday she has two little white teeth just getting ready to pop though her bottom gums.

Here are a few pictures from two weeks ago and this weekend. Two weeks ago the kids and I took a afternoon and went out to Camp Rim Rock to hang out with Mandie and Addisen. Last week we helped Uncle Russ at the farm and the kids got to ride in a tractor. Friday Joel and his dad played in the City golf tournament and the kids and I rode along. Saturday we went down to Eaton Colorado for my cousin's wedding reception. Becky and Cory got married down in Belton MO on the 11th and then came to Colorado Springs for their honeymoon and to have a reception in Eaton where Cory's is from. So that is that. Enjoy

Well I was going to take some pictures of Karlee today at swimming lessons BUT I had no batteries in the camera. Forgot that I let Karlee use them in her leapster the other night. So will have to get the batteries charged and get them in the camera for tomorrow.

Not much going to in the Sandlian household. Karlee started swimming lessons on Monday. They are everyday at 10:30 for a half hour. Our church camp for 3, 4, 5,graders started this week so we went out Tuesday for half a day to visit. Yesterday we went to Karlee's swimming lessons and then out to Uncle Russ and Aunt Holly's to help lay pipe for irrigation. It is 10 inch pipe so Joel and Uncle Russ did that work I just drove the truck. So other then running back and forth to swimming lessons. We are just doing house work. Hope to get some pictures on here soon.

We have had a very busy weekend. Saturday I was up and at the church by 7 ding hair for Patti's wedding. They came home got the family all ready to go and back to the church by 11:45. Wedding wasn't until 1:00 but Joel was an usher and needed to be there early and I had to do a little hair checking and re-curling and fluffing of hair. Well Trevor had another appointment with his heart doctor on Tuesday. Dr. Miller did another echo to see if there was any change with is aorta. There was not. It hasn't gotten any worse. So we talk to him about scheduling the surgery. He said that would be great. He said that there is a new Doctor coming to St Luke's Presbyterian Hospital from Dallas. He starts after August1 so we will schedule the surgery after the first. Dr Miller highly recommended him. So that is the plan for know. Don't know the date yet. Dr Miller said that he will have someone call to set up the date and stuff. We found out that Trevor's aorta goes from 10cm down to 3cm. When it is supposed to be 10cm, and gradually tapper down like 10, 8 , 7.5. 6.5, 4, and so on. So it does need fixed. We asked Dr. Miller if we will see a big change in Trevor. He said yes. He will be more active. Trevor right now is not getting all of the blood that he needs in his legs and after the surgery he will have all the blood that he needs. So his legs will be going going going. I will keep everyone updated when we hear anything like on date or if anything changes. And will we are in Denver I will take the lap top and update on the blog.

Well Karlee had her first tee-ball game last night. A double header one at 5:30 and one at 6:30. It was fun to watch. She has a good coach and good kids on her team. They don't keep score but the kids sure had a good time. I took my camera but didn't take any pictures so next time I will take some and post them. Her next game is Tuesday.

Karlee is going to do t-ball this summer. She had her first practice this evening. She said that she had fun. She has practice again on Wednesday and her first game is on Thursday. Joel can't make it because they are having a big Thanks barbeque for all the contractors Thursday night. But maybe it will be late enough that he can come to the end of it. Hopefully this will be something that Karlee enjoys and someday Trevor can do it too. We had to buy them both ball gloves. Karlee's is pink and black and Trevor's is black,grey and white cameo. So I guess the games and practices are though the month of June and then swimming lessons the first part of July. Plus camping, VBS. We are going to be busy. Karlee is also go to go stay with my Aunt in Colorado for a week or so. Don't know when that will happen maybe have to wait until after swimming lessons in July.

So I guess we are off to Saratoga in the morning. We are going to stop in Cheyenne to look at getting our cell phones upgraded and do some shopping at Walmart. Well Happy Memorial weekend. Enjoy the THREE day weekend.

We sure have been busy this past week. Karlee ended up sick last Tuesday night had the flu so stayed home from school Wednesday. Thursday was the kindergarten zoo day. So I went with her along with Trevor and Hailey. It was fun. Haven't been to the Scottsbluff Zoo in a really long time. I was impressed. We took our sack lunches and ate at a park. We got home around 2 and I instantly got sick. High fever and achy all over, head ache. Joel got home from work at 6 and I had a 101.5 fever still. Get in the bath and felt better. Friday I was weak so just hung around the house. Did got to the greenhouse to get some flowers for the wooden boxes that I have for the new front deck. Saturday Joel worked. My sister and her husband Darin came Friday night so they were here. Went to lunch at Ty and Sara's and let the kids play. Sunday we went to Church. Joel worked until 2 then came home and finish staining/painting the deck. I mowed the lawn. Yesterday I babysat for a Meghan Patterson her little boy Parker. He is a few month younger then Hailey but sure is a big boy. Or Hailey is just a little peanut. So other then catching up on house work and laundry not much going on. Joel has the weekend off so that will be good. Need to get the garden planted sometime this week. Karlee has school until the 3rd of June. So a couple more weeks.
Trevor goes in for another Echo on the 26th to see if there is any change in his aorta. Then we will probably schedule the surgery. I guess when we do the surgery depends on what the doctor sees in the echo. So keep up in your prayers next Tuesday. He is going to get a new bike if he is good and listens good while their. We will see. He did good last time. And well Joel ran over his tricycle that he has. Still can ride it but one of the wheels is a little bent.
So that is what has been going on in the Sandlian house. I will try to get some pictures posted soon. My camera is in the car so will get the uploaded and posted.

Haven't been very good keeping up on the blogging. But was kind of nice to take a little brake.

We have had a very busy weekend like usual. Yesterday Joel had the day off so he decided to take down our old beck ad put up a new one. It was old and some of the wood was rotten. So by the end of the day we had half of a beck and it SOME how got way bigger. So today he worked on it today. But ran out of wood. He also got the garden rotter tilled. He did goo this weekend getting his projects done. He wanted to get the garden rotter tilled, the beck and finish that kitchen floor finished (just need trim around it). I tried to help but I had to do the house work and tend to the kids.

The kids got me raspberry plants for Mother's Day. So will have to plant those tomorrow along with the onions and potatoes. I also got two flowers from the kids at church. So didn't do anything exciting for Mother's day. Joel was busy doing the deck and Hailey isn't feeling very good. Cold. She went to bed a 7:00. Well I have a little boy that is still awake so better try to get him to bed.
I will try to get some pictures on here tomorrow. One of the deck. Oh ya forgot that my Dad and Stacy got me a gift certificate for a pedicure. Very much love and needed. I have two gift certificates for a pedicure know. Will have to do one know and then one at the end of summer.

Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.. I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom .

Well we have done more stuff to the house this spring. We got our counter tops on, floor put down. Now we have a big pile of red rock in the front of the house that we are going to put down between the fence and road. Joel really wants to replace the beck but I think we might just replace the steps and railing.

We have a busy weekend. Tomorrow night I have a home show in Cheyenne and then have to come home that night because I have another home show Saturday afternoon. Sunday we are planning on getting the garden ready to get some stuff planted. I have a few things that I want to plant this year that I have never done before so we will see. At least this year I am not 7,8,9 months pregnant. So we are going to have a pretty good size garden this time. Sometime I need to plan a birthday party for Karlee. Might just have a real small one. To busy to have a big one. So busy busy busy.

Here are some ideas for Karlee for her birthday. We got the Leapfrog Leapster 2.(picture below but in pink/purple) She really likes the movie Wall-E. I saw that there was a Wall-E game for the leapster or for the Wii. The movie would be good too. She is also in to art, coloring. Clothes are always nice. Summer dresses and summer clothes (shorts, shirts) is what she needs. Size 7 Books that she can read are good too. She really like Dr. Seuss. Just some ideas for family that was needing some help with ideas.

Very Busy Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. Friday night we had a little family get together and colored Easter eggs, celebrated Beth's birthday and had supper. Saturday we had a wedding reception for Dad and Stacy from 3-6 so had to get things ready for that. Flowers, decorate the church, slide show and while we were doing that Sara and Ty were getting things ready for the Easter service at the college so I had their girls too. Today we went to Easter service at 10 lunch with Craig and Lennie and then headed out to Uncle Russ and Aunt Holly's so the kids could hunt Easter eggs and play the farming game (the guys Easter tradition). So very busy. Tomorrow we DON'T have to do anything. Karlee doesn't have school. So a good day to catch up on things hear at the house. I will get some pictures put on tomorrow. Good night.

New Floor

Joel worked until 2 yesterday then came home and played in the snow with the kids. They rode the four wheeler. They were trying to get though this drift in front of the house but got stuck two time. I did get any picture of them playing sorry. I was getting Hailey down for a nap. After they play for a little bit Joel started putting down the kitchen floor. Dad and Stacy came over to help. Our next project is the counters. We have it just have to wait until Dad has time to do it.

Blizzard #2

Well woke up to another blizzard. Wish we could all be together today. Joel had to work and then on call tonight. Probably won't come home until Sunday afternoon after work. Wish he could stay home today would be a good day to up down our new flooring in the kitchen.

I was planning on got to Cheyenne today for my sister birthday but took Hailey for her six month check up yesterday. She has an ear infection. She weighed 13lb 13oz and she is in the 20% for weight and her height was 25.5 and she is in the 40% for height. So she is on the chart yeah. She couldn't get her shots yesterday so will have to go back next week for them. And the storm is another reason why I am not going to Cheyenne the road is probably closed anyway.

Well get I will get a cup of coffee and go crawl back in bed. (just until the kids wake up) KEEP SLEEPING KIDS!!!!!!!

Happy fools Day!

Well did to anything for April's fools day. But eight years ago was the day that Joel asked my dad if he could marry me. I don't know way he asked him on April fools day. Maybe he didn't even think about it. Well April 2nd is the day we got engaged. Joel sure didn't waste anytime after he asked my dad. Just thought of that. Funny.

Anyway we met with our tax lady today and got our taxes signed. Today was Joel's day off so we went to Scottsbluff. We have been wanting to do something different on the kitchen floor. So we got some laminate wood flooring today. And about a month ago we ordered new counter tops. Don't have the counter top in yet. Have been waiting for Dad to come home and get settled first. So my be after Easter. I will try to get a before and after pictures of the kitchen. It will be a huge change.

For family and friends we are planning a wedding reception for Dad and Stacy on Saturday April 11th at North Hills Baptist Church in Lingle from 3-6. Hope you can make it and celebrate their new marriage as husband and wife.

Well I don't know if we have been very busy but life has been crazy. With school being canceled, grand opening party for At Home America, kid, house work and Joel's work. We must have been busy. Well grandma and grandpa finally made it home after being snowed in, in Texas. Emily have over a foot of snow on Thursday in Colorado. And Dad and Stacy just called about an hour ago and they were unloading stuff in to their new home. So everyone is home and safe. Good bye March and welcome April. Wow were did that month go. Here are a few pictures from the past week.

We are still in a blizzard warning today. The wind blow all night long. School in canceled today. Yesterday they got out at 10am. Today they are saying gust of wind up to 55 mph. Wish they would close the lumber yard so we can all be together today. Joel thought if it got worse by lunch he would stay home this afternoon. Well I have laundry to do from our trip so better tackle that today. Stay warm today.

Well since a lot of the family didn't get to come to the wedding I tried to take a lot of pictures. Enjoy the pictures. Talked to dad ans Stacy lats night and they made it to Branson Missouri. Think they will be there for a couple days and then they are going back to her house in Olive Branch MS to get some furniture. Then home to Wyoming.

Well we are home from our trip to Greenville MS. We started out good but by the end of the flight on Wednesday I don't think any of us are going to fly for awhile.

The Story
Our shuttle from the hotel to DIA was at 4am Wednesday. Flight from DIA to Houston was at 6am. All 14 of us got our bags and car seats checked in and made it though security fine. Our flight from DIA to Houston was fine other then the landing. It was so foggy in Houston you couldn't even tell the plane had landed. I thought we were still in the air and had hit something. Anyway because of the fog flights were canceled, ours was one of them. They said the next flight to Jackson MS had two seats. And there was 14 of us. So we asked when the next flight to Jackson MA it was on FIRDAY. OH GREAT. So then we had them look in to Little Rock AR. They had a flight but didn't leave until 1:45pm. So we went to grab some lunch and then headed to the gate. We ended up leaving Houston at 2:30. We got to Little Rock AR and had no luggage and no car seats. Our car rentals and luggage and car seats were in Jackson MS. So we tried to get car rentals from Little Rock but it was going to cost an arm and a leg for them because we were going to have to leave them in Jackson MS then we fly out on Sunday. So thought way don't we try to get our flights changed on Sunday to Little Rock and then get our luggage shipped to us overnight. Well NO flight from Little Rock on Sunday. So plan 16 (felt like it). Call dad and Stacy and had them come and get us and the boys would go to Jackson on Thursday to get the cars and luggage and car seats. Well that is what we did and we finally made it to this amazing lodge at 1am Thursday morning. We had a great time other then flight stuff. Kids did great other then lack of SLEEP. I think we all had that even dad and Stacy. Well, Dad and Stacy are on a short honeymoon and will be home the first part of April. For the family we are going to probably have a family get together for them then they get home. But will call to let everyone know.
Our fight home was OK other then the pilot had to go for a second try at landing in Houston because of FOG. So that made us about 45 minute late so had to RUN to our next gate for our flight to Denver. But we made it and so did our luggage and car seats.

Here are few pictures of the past week. It was So nice out we spent most of our time outside cleaning and picking up junk. On Tuesday the 3rd Karlee had her spring concert. It was cute put crazy.

It was cold and wind yesterday and I think the same for today. But snow for tonight and tomorrow and then again on Monday. Dad and Stacy are leaving on Saturday to go down to Mississippi to get ready for the wedding and finish the final touches on things. Then we leave the 18th and the wedding is the 21st.
